Welcome to Face2Face, the job search networking group for professionals who want the latest info on job search, and want to improve their face-to-face networking as a way of landing their next great job.
We meet in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, in Minnetonka.
While the group is often called "extremely supportive", it's not the place to complain about your last job or company. Instead, this is where you'll look forward. You'll make connections AND practice speaking well of your career accomplishments – you have them and we'll help you talk about them. In the Networking Clusters, you'll meet with others in your field to make new connections – and to share your success stories. As you'll learn when you attend, talking about what you do well in your job isn't "bragging" – instead, today it's how you inform and establish credibility with contacts, especially in interviews! Why hide your gifts when some lucky employer out there needs them, and will hire you if you just let them know about you?
Our meetings are neutral in regards to any particular religion, so all faiths are welcome and will be comfortable. Each person is treated with dignity, our guiding principle. Attendees tell us they usually leave each meeting newly-inspired and more highly motivated in their search.
Professionals of all ages and all career areas are welcome, whether between jobs or in a job. We have Networking Clusters, which are subgroups that meet during our networking time. Depending on who's there that week, these focus on a wide range of career areas.
While the Internet is a critical tool in the job search, smart job seekers know to get way from the keyboard! Results come to those who make it a priority to do face-to-face networking. This activity is vital in uncovering that "hidden" job market out there that's responsible for over 85% of job-landing stories we've heard since 2009. We have a Member Database and Landed Member Database available at the meetings only, and we regularly have programs that show you how to use social media and other technologies that help you in your search.
If the Minnetonka Schools cancel school for weather reasons, there will be no Face2Face meeting that day.
